Biography

I studied Fine Art at Newcastle University followed by three years at St. Martins School of Art under Sir Anthony Caro. 

I practiced as a sculptor for many years and have gradually moved towards painting and monoprinting.

London is my home and for many years I combined teaching art at St. Martins (now Central St. Martins) working as a practicing artist, these days I am now able to devote more time to my work.

My work is on show at NBC’s International Art Collection in Rockefeller Centre, New York, and
GE’s International Collection both in
New York and Fairfield, Connecticut, USA. 

Many private collectors own my work including

Recent Work

I work from life and landscapes and the movement of the sea form the bulk of my work. 

I am fascinated by exploring the underlying rhythms and tensions of the world around me. 

My recent work has primarily been inspired by the peculiar light in Aldeburgh Suffolk.
