Biography I studied Fine Art at Newcastle University followed by three years at St. Martins School of Art under Sir Anthony Caro. I practiced as a sculptor for many years and have gradually moved towards painting and monoprinting. London is my home and for many years I combined teaching art at St. Martins (now Central St. Martins) working as a practicing artist, these days I am now able to devote more time to my work. |

Recent Work I work from life and landscapes and the movement of the sea form the bulk of my work. I am fascinated by exploring the underlying rhythms and tensions of the world around me. My recent work has primarily been inspired by the peculiar light in Aldeburgh Suffolk. |
